Collaborative projects to address digital transformation

Cashkeeper Group is a Catalan company provider of cash management machines. In September 2018, Cashkeeper participated in the Industry 4.0 course organised by ACCIÓ. This course consisted of 13 sessions focused on understanding how to tackle digital transformation from a strategic point of view. Consequently, the company became more aware of the need to address the digital transformation and set up a strategic plan to carry the process out.

With this in mind, in October 2018, the company decided to join the IOT Brokerage Event organised by ACCIÓ with the support of the Enterprise Europe Network. Moreover, Cashkeeper was overflowed and had a lack of human resources available at that moment. Therefore, the company group participated in the Brokerage with the aim to find any collaboration that could provide quality suppliers or either outsourcing partner. The Catalan group held a meeting with an ICT company from Belarus specialized in advanced software development. They signed a cooperation agreement to work together for this specific project. The relation between both companies worked so well, that they have started to collaborate in a new project specified by Cashkeeper.

The Catalan company group detected an increasing demand of recognition at the point of sale. Then, both companies signed a second contract where they would develop a project to program cameras of recognition. Currently they are still working on it and they expect to finish this project very soon.

“Thanks to the Brokerage events we can find qualified partners and reduce the time investment in partnerships relations.”  Ms. Alexandra Colls, CEO of Cashkeeper
