CellerGrau I Grau is a small family business located in Pla de Bages, specifically in Maians township, Since 1885 the Celler elaborates high-quality wines. Their philosophy is to produce wines with a traditional and highly personalized dedication, especially inthe first step of the elaboration. The company was looking to expand its international sales and visit the Valls Chamber of Commerce and General Counsel of Chamber of Commerce to get advice in internationalization.

The EEN advisor analyzed the possibilities of the company in the European market. The EEN advisor introduce to the company an incoming company mission that was organized by the General Council of Chamber of Commerce of Catalonia and the Valls Chamber of commerce (In House consultant of the General Council) bringing wine importers from the Netherlands and Germany, together with EEN colleagues Netherlands Enterprise Agency and the Chamber of Commerce of Munich. The EEN partners brought wine importers to the incoming company mission, importers that travel to Valls and met Catalan cellars in B2B prearranged meetings.

Thanks to the direct assistance and active partnering support of CGCC Grau and Grau Cellar found a partner in the Netherlands; and RICI IMPORT, a wine importer. Both companies agreed to set up a commercial relationship in which Grau I Grau and Rici Import have engaged in a collaborative partnership agreement. In doing so, the Dutch importers would include a new line of wines in its portfolio making it wider and Grau I Grau will sell to the Netherlands.  In the case of Grau I Grau, the support of the EEN Network has generally made a positive contribution to the company.  The most positive contribution is that the EEN has helped the company to enter into the Dutch market and it is expected to increment the turnover. Furthermore, EEN has helped the company to maintain the actual jobs in the company. As a network partner, we are proud of having helped our company to find suitable partners. Regarding the future aspirations of the company, GRAU and GRAU are under negotiation with other companies provided by the Network.
