AD'OCC (Occitanie, France) and ACCIÓ, partners of Enterprise Europe Network, organized a Catalan company mission on December 10th and 11th, 2019 in Toulouse (France) for seven Catalonia-based companies traveled to Toulouse and learned more about the strong scientific ecosystem of Toulouse in the aeronautics and space fields. The Global Business Developer and the CTO of Ebredrone have the opportunity to join the company's mission. Since then, Ebredrone has received different advisory and partnering services from the EEN regarding international partner search and access to private funding.

The first step was to connect Ebredrone with international opportunities and connect with international partners. Ebredrone registered in Merlin (the old EEN platform) and start receiving an alert with suitable opportunities. In addition, it was advised to participate in the conference and matchmaking event DroneDays 2.0 organised by the EEN partner Hub Brussels. During the DroneDays 2.0 matchmaking event in 2020, Ebredrone met with a Swiss enterprise and they agreed on a Cooperation agreement.

The second step was to connect them with ACCIÓ's funding unit which supported them in the definition of their investment deck as they were seeking to raise private funding. In addition, they were invited to participate in ACCIÓ's annual investment forum in 2020 where they were selected among 21 startups to pitch in front of a panel of Spanish and Dutch investors.

Moreover, in 2021 Ebredrone participated again at DroneDays 2.0 matchmaking event. In that case, they met with a French company with whom agreed on partnering for the Galatea Horizon Europe project and submitted a joint proposal.

"We really appreciate the role that ACCIÓ plays to help Catalan companies like us to enhance their business. Especially remarkable for us is being part of the Enterprise Europe Network, which has brought us many opportunities to grow our revenues, allowing us to reach new customers and partners both European wide and globally, which is the way to scale when it comes to tech startups like EbreDrone."
